Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in Australian women. Each year more than 10,000 women are diagnosed with

breast cancer, with one in 2,500 cases resulting in fatality. Survival is improving due to better detection and improved treatment resulting from the excellent research supported by organisations like the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Your local Professionals office, in association with the Professionals as a group, is proud to be a corporate partner of the NBCF. Professionals continually raise funds for the foundation by donating part of their sales commissions to the foundation and by actively fundraising throughout the year.

We would like to leave you with the stories of people who have been directly affected by breast cancer. Their journey’s are truly inspirational and personify why it is so very important that organisations and the community continually support research into the disease, both financially and emotionally.
